In an age where every influencer is clamoring for their fifteen minutes of fame, Leslie Juvin-Acker is an intriguing anomaly. The former celebrity life coach, known in elite circles for her sage advice to A-list clients and billionaires, is stepping into the limelight—not as a star, but as a storyteller. With the launch of her new blog, “The Good Life,” Juvin-Acker is poised to share the untold tales of her life coaching journey through Hollywood's glitzy underbelly, all while revealing why she never saw herself as part of that glamorous world.
A Celebrity Magnet Without the Spotlight
Leslie has a way of attracting the crème de la crème without ever seeking them out. “I never sought out celebrity clients—they always came to me. In markets, at events, at the airport, to my office,” she explains. “In a weird way, it was like I was a celebrity magnet, and they were finding me. I’d meet them in the most simple ways.” Whether it was a chance encounter at a farmer’s market or a casual chat at an airport lounge, her life became an unexpected tapestry of star-studded connections.
But don’t let her impressive client roster fool you; Leslie never thought of herself as a star. “I never thought of myself as a star in any way because I worked in the background,” she says. “They’d come to my home office or call me. I went from living my life as a mom with two babies, fixing up my fixer-upper, to getting interupted from that life with a call from an A-lister or billionaire in crisis.”
The Burden of Celebrity
Leslie’s journey to self-acceptance hasn’t been without its struggles. “I hid for almost 15 years because I had a limiting belief about celebrity. I had associated it with suffering,” she reveals. The celebrity lifestyle she witnessed was often marred by chaos—stalkers lurking outside homes, relentless scrutiny, and the toll of public ridicule. “My clients and their families had to deal with nightmares,” she recalls. “I had to confront my own belief that stardom equals suffering.”
For Leslie, the quiet joy of her private life—tending to her garden, chatting with neighbors, and enjoying the simple pleasures—became a sanctuary. “I realized that a quiet life is a true gift,” she says, appreciating the normalcy that her celebrity clients often lacked.
Lessons from the Elite
Despite her reservations about fame, Leslie acknowledges that her work with high-profile clients enriched her life in ways she never anticipated. “My celebrity clients and top executive clients taught me so much about success, wealth building, and business,” she shares. “What I learned helped me provide tools for everyday people who are struggling.”
Her bestselling books—*The Money Formula*, *It Pays to Be You*, and *Engineering Your Mood*—distill those lessons, offering practical advice for anyone willing to do the work.
A nudge from a friend in the entertainment industry eventually prompted Leslie to share her stories. “I wouldn’t have the confidence without him showing me a side of myself that I never recognized,” she admits. “I’m famous to the famous in our own little circle. It’s silly to say, but not even my own family—nor my husband Franck—knows who my clients are. I tell him, ‘If you knew who my clients were, you would lose your mind!’”
The Secrets of the Famous
Leslie takes great pride in her ability to keep the secrets of Hollywood’s elite. “It’s fun knowing the secrets of the most famous people in the world. I’m the Fort Knox of celebrity secrets,” she laughs. While she has plenty of public stories and exciting encounters, she insists she’ll never out her celebrity clients. “I just have too much respect for their labor and privacy,” she asserts.
At the end of the day, Leslie understands the allure of celebrity. “Everyone loves the celebrity mystique, but it’s just a business,” she explains. “We’re all busy creating something. It’s numbers and imagination. When celebrities come to you almost daily, it feels almost mundane.”
Living the Good Life
So, what prompted Leslie to step back from life coaching? “Why did I retire? You get bored of it,” she admits. “It was the same problems over and over. I had mastered them all, and now I want to live the good life, write books, tell stories, make people smile by being silly on my instagram account, tell people what I love about France and being French, and educate my children in the French culture.” Her vision of the future? “I want to be Auntie Mame when I grow up!”
As Leslie Juvin-Acker embarks on this new chapter with *The Good Life*, she invites readers into her world—a place where the magic of Hollywood meets the comfort of everyday life, and where the real stars might just be the stories waiting to be told.
