Sometimes, All You Need Is Someone Who Sees Your Dream Too.

 

I believe it is a sin to gatekeep pivotal information.

 

I have personally hired some of the top advisors to some of the most successful coaches and entrepreneurs in the world.

I have paid out the wazoo in fees.

 

And more than once, I walked away wondering:

 

Where was the original thought?

 

Where was the insight?

 

Where was the person who actually cared enough to understand what I was trying to build?

 

Too often, the advice was some variation of:

 

Spend more. Hire more. Advertise more. Throw money at the problem.

 

But throwing money at a problem does not solve the deeply confusing, painful, and disorienting moments that come with building

a career, changing direction, starting something new, or trying to bring a deeply personal idea into the world.

 

Those moments require something else.

 

Perspective. Creativity. Imagination. Discernment. Courage. And someone who genuinely gives a damn about what happens to you.

 

That is why I mentor.

I Have A Problem With The Way Advice Is Sold

​

There is an entire consulting industry built around convincing smart, capable people that the answer must be more complicated than it really is.

​

More analysis.

​

 

More meetings.

 

More frameworks.

 

More retainers.

 

More money.

 

I have seen advisors drain someone's bank account, energy, confidence—and, worst of all, their hope—while providing very little

that actually changes the person's situation.

 

I don't believe wisdom should work like that.

 

If I see something that could help you, I am going to tell you.

 

If I know something you don't know, I am going to share it.

 

If I think you're overlooking an opportunity, I am going to point toward it.

 

If I think an idea has legs, I am going to help you explore it.

 

If I think you're hiding behind a belief that no longer serves you, I'm probably going to ask you about that too.

 

Because I don't believe my value comes from withholding the answer.

 

My value comes from helping you learn to see more for yourself.

Sometimes You Don't Need Another

Expert.

You need an ally.

 

There are seasons in a career when the problem isn't your competence.

 

You already know how to work.

 

You already know how to think.

 

You may already be highly successful.

 

But something is changing.

 

Maybe the career you built no longer fits.

 

Maybe you know what you want next but have no idea how to explain it.

I know what it feels like to dig yourself out of something that feels like a grave.

 

To realize that the life, identity, business, relationship, or career you thought you were building cannot continue in exactly the same

form.

 

And to discover that getting out is only the beginning.
